International Hearing Dog, Inc. (IHDI) is actively seeking enthusiastic, passionate business professionals to complete its Board of Directors. These individuals will assist in furthering our mission to train dogs to assist Deaf and hard-of-hearing persons, with and without multiple disabilities, at no cost to the recipient.
IHDI Board Members meet quarterly with staff from the organization and discuss progress, financials and future planning. Those on the Board contribute in the form of strategic and financial planning, goal setting, budgeting and many other areas in order to move the organization closer to its goals.
Preferred candidates to fill these positions are outgoing business professionals with a passion for IHDI’s mission. The prospective candidates should be able to openly share knowledge and expertise, provide strategic viewpoints, seek and secure connections for community partnerships and get involved in the planning and execution of events.
Interested parties should send a resume or bio and letter of interest to the attention of Valerie Foss-Brugger, Executive Director via email.
